Our partner center, the Restore Center, currently seeking proposals for our pilot project program. The program awards seed grants to innovative and meritorious projects that will accelerate the use of sensor and video technology in rehabilitation research and will advance real-world monitoring and delivery of medical rehabilitation for individuals with impaired movement. Applicants can request up to $30,000 in funding. Projects of particular interest are those that use or extend tools that are supported and disseminated by the Restore Center, such as OpenCap, OpenSense, and Sit2Stand. Individuals from underrepresented racial and ethnic groups, as well as individuals with disabilities, are encouraged to apply. Applications are due October 4, 2023.

In this webinar, Dr. Lee and Dr. Clouthier will demonstrate how incorporating joint geometry into musculoskeletal models can reveal why certain bone shapes increase injury risk. They will also lead an interactive tutorial on using statistical shape models to map soft tissue attachment sites across bone shapes for musculoskeletal simulation.
